Meet the Orthodontist

Dr. Kendra Covington Pratt, DDS, MS, PA completed her BA in biology at Texas Christian University (Fort Worth, TX) before moving to The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio for her DDS degree and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston for her MS degree. Graduating with honors from Texas Christian University, she established a standard of excellence that followed her as she continued her schooling in San Antonio where she graduated Valedictorian of the dental school. She also received the Awards for Excellence in Basic Science and Excellence in Clinical Dentistry.

Dr. Pratt is the only private practice female orthodontist in The Woodlands. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. She also holds membership in the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, and Texas Christian University Alumni Association. Dr. Pratt is also a certified Invisalign provider.

Dr. Pratt was born and raised in Magnolia, TX where she was a cheerleader, active church member, National Honor Society member, and Magnolia High School Valedictorian. Now she and her husband, Brian, are raising a family of their own. They have two small boys, Cade and Corban, who keep them very busy. Outside of work, Dr. Pratt enjoys jogging, scrapbook designing, cheerleading, golfing, and spending time with her family engaged in various outdoor activities. She is an active member of Gateway Baptist Church (Spring, TX), Magnolia Parkway Chamber of Commerce, and South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Pratt is excited to return close to her hometown to practice orthodontics.

Dr. Pratt is a board certified orthodontist who believes in offering her patients state-of-the-art dental services. Through the use of digital x-rays and photography and computer animated treatment plans, she can custom-tailor each patient's treatment to fit his or her goals. With this computer imaging Dr. Pratt can ensure both patients and parents understand the treatment required prior to initiating orthodontic therapy. She offers a wide variety of orthodontic services, including Invisalign, conventional metal braces, clear braces, friction-free braces, simple and complex adult and adolescent cases, and early interventional orthodontic treatment that corrects growth and dental problems before they become too serious and more difficult to treat.
